The Boat House Bar in Skipton overlooks the busy canal basin and is popular with both locals and tourists, it's a great place to walk to and meet up with friends.
When owner Ian was looking for a new EPOS system to replace his worn out cash register he turned to Mobo Innovations to provide his new system. With a growing business it was important for Ian to have a better control over cash takings, stock control and staff.
Michael Hutchings MD of Mobo Innovations comments:
"Ian had heard about us from another local business and when the call came in we were quick to respond. We listened to Ian's requirements, provided some suggestions and the following week the system was installed".
The EPOS system is programmed to manage food and drink menu's efficiently, the table plan is fast and easy to use and the system prints off food order dockets for the chef. The till is linked to a cloud based back office used by the management team, often working from an office offsite. With real time sales data, transaction analysis, menu management, staff clock in/out and stock control the Boat House are in a much better position to make changes to the way they run their business.
About The Boat House Bar
Tucked away off the main drag it is accessed through an arch from Coach Street or via the canalside path from the Aagrah restaurant to Coach Street Bridge.
The bar overlooks the canal basin and the décor is canal themed with two small boats for lamp shades and 'capstan' style stools. A sheltered outdoor drinking and dining area offers the opportunity to enjoy a beer while watching the boats pass. There is fantastic range of local beers and pub grub on offer.
