New loyalty system for Traders Arms

Conveniently located between Blackburn and Preston, The Traders in Mellor is a Thwaites owned Lancashire pub where they like to keep things simple - fantastic pub food favourites and fresh fish specials, great beer, wine and all round friendly service to match. Now this traditional pub has gone the extra mile to keep it's customers happy, by installing a new loyalty card system supplied by Mobo Innovations.

Bar and restaurant loyalty system

Pub landlord, David Wardleworth recognised the importance of enhancing customer loyalty, in a highly competitive market. David wanted to reward his local customers and also entice infrequent buyers, so they would always consider the Traders Arms as their first port of call.

The flexible loyalty scheme has been designed to reward customers based on the value of their purchases. The points based loyalty system awards points per spend, just like the a Nectar card would, any points collected can be redeemed as a discount against future purchases. The till receipts keep customers informed of the points awarded so far and the current points available for redemption.

Just weeks after the launch, the new scheme has already had instant results, with locals flashing their loyalty cards at every opportunity. Over time, with every swipe of the card through the point of sale terminal, a profile of the customerís spending habits can be built up, allowing the pub to tailor menus and offers to their clients tastes.

The Uniwell EPOS system and loyalty scheme has been an all round success helping this busy Lancashire pub introduce new efficiencies and enhance its customer service to match the superb quality of its food and beer.
