New EPOS system adds a touch of excellence

Shakespeare's hometown is a magnet for tourists and holiday makers, with hundreds of coach parties and day trippers packing the streets, the new EPOS tills at Hobsons had to be primed for speed of service and ease of use.
Uniwell AX3000 EPOS System
The large screen Uniwell AX3000 touch screen tills are pre-set to manage eat in and take out orders and have been configured to optimise the order taking process. The clever touch screen user interface makes it easy for staff to find and sell products.
Rapid fire order dispense printers and kitchen order printers minimise the amount of time staff spend running around, and speed up operations in the busy kitchen.
Graphical table plans allow staff to hold orders against tables for easy guest billing, while in-built security features limit till access and management-only functions.
Remote Back Office
With regular menu changes, it was vital that the new EPOS tills could be programmed remotely from head office.
Real-time daily sales reports are available to in-store managers to help keep an eye on takings, monitor staff, review transactions and analyse sales. Scheduled end of day processes automatically send sales data to head office and collect new menu changes so the tills are ready for the new day.
